The macaron adventure

Since I took my macaron class at The Atelier des Chefs, I tried twice to make some of these delicious little patisseries at home. First I tried to recreate one of the recipes I already knew from that class, the ginger and lime macarons. I was quite pleased with the result even if I could see so many flaws in them…

After pestering  my boyfriend for years about typical French food (he is the French, not me ! :P ), he finally gave me today a wonderful book : Les 118 Recettes Françaises : Les Classiques by Trish Deseine.
